The teacher

Ballet, Tap and Jazz are taught by Amy Cain, who has over 30 years of dance training in the United States and abroad. She was co-owner of the NHPAT dance studio for 23 years, co-director of Revolve Dance Company, and taught jazz to upper-level students at Houston Ballet Academy.

Amy’s children’s classes are preregistration only. Message us to sign up. Turning up on the day will not work for her classes, though it is fine for most of the adult timetable.

Children’s ballet, tap and jazz classes run three afternoons a week after school. They cost $120 MXN. Amy has decades of experience teaching dance and is passionate about giving back to the town’s children, so the prices are low and affordable.

What should my child wear, and how do we get there?

Ask about what your child should wear when you message. Ballet, tap and Jazz each want something different on the feet, and it is not worth buying anything before somebody has told you which.

The studio is air conditioned, about eight minutes on foot from the plaza, and there is parking if you are driving. Children’s classes run on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday afternoons.

Finding the right class

Message us with your child’s age and we will tell you which class fits, or whether one does.
